Bianca Miller is the Director of the Center for Student Success and Academic Excellence at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ, where she is dedicated to empowering students and promoting their academic and personal growth. Mrs. Miller joined the JCSU community in May 2023 as a Student Success Coach, quickly becoming a key contributor to the university's Student Success Coach and BullsNav initiatives. Her leadership and expertise were instrumental in the successful implementation of these programs, and she played an active role in various university-level working groups throughout the 2023-2024 academic year.
In addition to her role as a Student Success Coach, Mrs. Miller holds certifications as both an InsideTrack Certified Student Success Coach and an InsideTrack Certified Trainer. These credentials will play a crucial role in enhancing the sustainability and quality of JCSU's Student Success Coach initiative, further solidifying her commitment to student success.
A proud alumna of Fayetteville State University and North Carolina A&T State University, Mrs. Miller brings over a decade of experience in education, including five years dedicated to mental health counseling and academic advising in the public K-12 sector. Her diverse background reflects her passion for supporting students in navigating both academic challenges and personal growth, helping them reach their full potential.
In her current role, Mrs. Miller works closely with students and campus partners to strengthen student success, retention, persistence, and graduation rates at JCSU. Her work aligns closely with the university's mission, fostering an environment where students are supported in achieving their academic and career goals.
Beyond her work at JCSU, Mrs. Miller is an active participant in the broader higher education community, regularly sharing her insights and best practices at national conferences.
