Charlotte, N.C./May. 25, 2021Ìý–ÌýJCSU is among the top 50 universities in the nation and the top 7 HBCUs in the Best Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology category as ranked byÌý. The ranking is based on factors such as tuition costs, retention rates, and graduation rates, quality of learning facilities, resources to support undergraduate research, access to internships and hands-on experiences, and the qualifications of faculty members.

When he walks across the stage to receive his diploma, Perkins will be commissioned into the U.S. military as an officer.

JCSU’s campus was abuzz Friday as freshmen students and their families unpacked their cars, moved into their residence halls, and set off on their journeys as Golden Bulls.ÌýThis new generation of Smithites is the largest incoming class since before the COVID-19 pandemic. This increase in enrollment has brought a number of unique and expressive new students to campus.
