Alumna Latanya Dilligard ’92 is providing a boost to a couple of current JCSU students excelling in the classroom. She recently awarded Crystal Howard ’21 and Javyion Jenkins ’21 each a $500 scholarship for the spring 2021 semester.

Congresswoman Alma Adams Highlights JCSU Campus in Virtual Community Swearing-in Ceremony
Congresswoman Alma Adams, Ph.D., continues to be a champion for Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and for the 12th Congressional District, in which °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ resides. To ensure HBCUs are properly funded, in 2015 she founded the Congressional Bipartisan Historically Black Colleges and Universities Caucus, which has more than 100 Congressional members.
JCSU Esports club wins first place in tournament
°ÅÀÖÊÓƵ is making a name for itself in the Esports and gaming world. The University’s Esports and Gaming club recently won the HBCU Esports League’s Fall Classic Call of Duty (COD): Black Ops Cold War Tournament after defeating Morgan State University.

Today, in celebration of Computer Science Education Week, °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ announced it will become a community center for Coding and Creativity as part of Apple’s Community Education Initiative and Tennessee State University’s HBCU C2 initiative designed to bring coding and creativity experiences to historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and their communities.
