Gardner-Webb Physician Assistant (PA) Department and °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ (JCSU) Announce Partnership
The Gardner-Webb University Department of Physician Assistant (PA) Medicine has announced a partnership with °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ (JCSU). Through this new agreement, JCSU graduates who are interested in a career as a certified PA can apply for a Reserve Applicant spot with the Gardner-Webb PA program and waive a total of $1,700 in fees.

Charlotte, N.C./April 24, 2023 – JCSU’s O’Herron Distinguished Professor of Psychology Dr. Ruth Greene recently became the first HBCU faculty member to win the Southeastern Psychological Association Mentor Award.

Oakley Highlights Need for Recycling on Earth Day
Aleena Oakley ’22 came from a family who always recycled, but it wasn’t until she took Principals of Sustainability at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ when she realized how passionate she was about it.

On April 19, 2023, the Charlotte Racial Justice Consortium (CRJC) met at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) for a culminating event of presentations from all five institutions in the consortium.

JCSU recently celebrated the opening of its eHub powered by PNC, which will provide selected student-entrepreneurs – PNC Fellows – with space that is conducive to developing and launching new businesses. In addition to incubator space, the eHub will equip PNC Fellows with access to technology, seed funding and mentorship to help them launch new businesses or take existing businesses to the next level.
