JCSU hosted the MLK Peace Breakfast on Tuesday in Grimes Lounge after a hiatus due to the pandemic. Ìý


Reinstituted by Kenyatta V. Sanders-Foreman, instructional technology librarian, and the Division of Student Affairs, the Peace Breakfast paid homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The program presented words of wisdom from speakers who informed attendees how they can continue to live the dream King longed to become a reality.

Jenkins Attends Stanford University Research Program, Studies Immunology in World-Class Facilities

Kayla Jenkins ’22, a Biology major with a minor in Sustainability, quickly became interested in research after her first full year at °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ.

Her interest landed her in a summer research program at Stanford University, where she began studying transplant immunology with hopes of one day studying an immunodeficient disease she struggles with herself – type 1 diabetes.Ìý
