The school year has just begun, but Ramoya Grandison has already secured the bag. Deloitte & Touche hired the senior, who double majors in computer science information systems and business administration, five months before graduation. Grandison will remain in the Queen City after graduation in December before starting her new role as Risk and Financial Advisory Group Consultant in March.

Student launches organization, brings awareness to mental health

More than a dozen students recently attended JCSU senior Ramel Brown’s mental health discussion, Mel’s Mind, in the Rotunda September 20, 2019. The psychology major is working to break the stigma around mental health.

“My motivation is inspiring and impacting people,” Brown explained.
